Legally Bright is a highly regarded mentorship academy that is dedicated to providing comprehensive academic support, LSAT prep courses, tutoring, and networking opportunities to nearly 1000 aspiring and current law students in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. 

 

Our academy is committed to being a one-stop-shop for all individuals interested in pursuing a career in law. We offer enriching opportunities that will help them succeed on their legal journey. 

 

Our team of experienced mentors provides personalized academic support and guidance to ensure that our students receive the highest quality education and training. We understand that success in the legal field requires more than just academic excellence. Meet the Executive Team

Mustafa Paiz

Founder + President

Mustafa obtained his JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. He previously completed an undergraduate degree in Law and Society at York University. Mustafa has 6+ years of work experience in the practice of law (Business, Family, and Wills and Estate).

Through Legally Bright Inc. and in collaboration with talented law students and lawyers across Canada and the U.S, Mustafa hopes to advance legal knowledge and provide all the support, advice and connections that students need to succeed in their journey to law school.

Nicole Tuczynski

Vice President

Nicole obtained her JD degree from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law (Ryerson University). She also holds a LLM from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and a MA in Political Science, with a concentration in Transitional Justice/Post-Conflict Reconstruction, from Western University. Nicole has spent the last five years of her career working for the federal government in Ottawa. She initially served as a political staffer on Parliament Hill before moving into a Policy Analyst position with Health Canada and later Justice Canada. 

Nicole has been fortunate to be mentored by exceptional lawyers, politicians, academics and practitioners working in the field of law and/or legal services over her lifetime. She has made it her mission to give back by helping students succeed in their law school pursuit, especially by employing honest and practical advice.

Dorsa Eshtehardian

Director of Legal Outreach

Dorsa obtained her dual JD degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law & University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She graduated from Ryerson University in June 2020 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Law and Business and a minor in Professional Communications.

Dorsa is interested in pursuing a career in Labour & Employment Law or Corporate Law upon graduating from law school. Aside from being on Legally Bright Inc., she is passionate about legal technology and innovation and works part-time as a Business Development Associate at a legal technology company called Alexsei Inc.

Maximillian Pivetta

Director of Legal Outreach

Max obtained his JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. He previously completed an undergraduate degree in Political Science at York University. His interests include the areas of corporate, immigration, and environmental law.

As someone who has gone through the process of applying to a Canadian law school, he hopes to help undergraduate students navigate through some of the more confusing parts of that process. As Director of Legal Outreach, he also seeks to reach out to lawyers and other legal professionals in order to provide further support to both undergraduates and law students alike.

Sheren Kamaei

Director of Events

Sheren is a University of Toronto graduate. She obtained her JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law school. While at law school, she was employed as a research assistant for Professor Jennifer Nadler and served as the Dean’s Fellow for Tort Law.

Sheren is passionate about advocacy which she explores by volunteering at METRAC. Her core competencies include research, communication, taking initiative and problem solving.

Ali Aghaeinia

Director of Mentorship

Ali obtained his JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Before law school, he studied a double major in Criminology and Ethics, Society and law with a minor in Sociology at the University of Toronto. 

Ali has experience in a diverse set of mentorship programs supporting individuals with different goals. Utilizing his skills as a mentor, he seeks to support everyone in making meaningful connections that will help them reach their career goals.

Simran Gill

Director of Marketing

Simran Gill is a Toronto Metropolitan University graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce in Global Management, and a minor in Marketing.

Simran aspires to advance in the legal industry using her passion for identifying issues and fighting for access to justice; to which she held a prior position of the Marketing Associate for Ryerson’s Legal Innovation Zone. Besides Legally Bright Inc., Simran is also the Regional Director for Future Majority and the Marketing Lead for SCOOTY.

Manoor Babar

Director of Marketing

Manoor graduated from University of Toronto Mississauga with a double major in Criminology, Law & Society, and Sociology. She is currently a 1L student at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Outside of school, Manoor enjoys doing charitable work. Currently, she volunteers at one of the many STEM community programs for marginalized children developed by the Visions of Science Network for Learning Inc. (VoSNL), a not-for-profit organization. Manoor has always been passionate and excited about pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer. She aspires to give back to her community by working with organizations like Legally Bright Inc.

Natalie Emidio

Director of Marketing

Natalie graduated from University of Toronto Mississauga with a double major in Criminology, Law & Society and Sociology (double major). Natalie is currently a 1L student at Western Law.

Outside of academics, Natalie enjoys being involved within her school community. She is currently involved with the UTM Women in Law Association, UTM Pre-Law Organization and UTM Miscarriages of Justice. She hopes to extend this passion for community involvement by working with organizations like Legally Bright Inc. while pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer.
